And for my first post back, I bring you a poet who has managed to grow far beyond the rank of notable poet, but has broken into many aspects of mainstream entertainment. Having appeared in several films, along with having his most recent album produced by legendary Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails fame, he also happens to be a fantastic poet, whose influence is still very present in the work of current spoken word artists.
